Letsip S1 for passive training.

  • Exercising mouth closure, stimulating cheeks and all musculature attached to lip musculature (m. orbicularis oris).
  • Sit with it between your teeth and lips for 20 minutes.
  • Letsip s-series can amongst else be used in conjunction with other sitting activities. It´s recommended that the tool is utilized for 10 – 20 minutes several times a day.
  • Move from the larger to the smaller orbicules to increase the difficulty: from S5 to S4, S3, S2 and ultimately S1, which is the hardest to hold with the Orbicularis oris muscle/lips.
  • Don´t tighten the chin area (m.mentalis H), massage if so the area.

Letsip S1 can be used as a stimulation pen whilst having regulating therapy of Orofacialis instead of using ones hand. It´s easier to work inside the mouth after having worked on the outside. Gloves are redundant and preasure can be individually adjusted.

When several people cooperat on giving facial stimulation the presure will often be percieved as different, this is equalized through the use of propper equipment.

Active stimuation given with S1 in short fast vibrations, will increase tonus in the musculature and make it contract.

Long term stimulation of the same muscle can also lead to reduction of tension and tonus.

S-series for stimulating cheeks

The different sizes of the Letsip S-series provide different exercises for the cheeks and lips. The biggest mouth piece stimulates the large parts of the cheek, whilst the smallest mouth piece, exercises the lips whilst stabilising the cheeks.

Stimulation of musculature: Cheek 1

Trigger the cheek muscles for stronger, tighter muscles. This is achieved as vibrations reach deeply into one of the main "smile" muscles (Zygomaticus major).

Stimulation of musculature: Cheek 2

Trigger the cheek muscles for stronger, tighter muscles. This is achieved as vibrations reach deeply into one of the main "smile" muscles (Zygomaticus minor)

Stimulation of musculature: Cheek 3

Tighten the mouth's muscles by triggering the muscle to pull itself in tighter. IThis function is very important for breathing through the nose and mimicry. (m. Levator Labii Superioris elaeque nasi)

Stimulation of musculature: Cheek 4

Trigger the cheek muscles for stronger, tighter muscles. This is achieved as vibrations reach deeply into one of the main "smile" muscles (Levator anguli oris).

Stabilising the cheeks by rounding the lips.

Pull out the corners of the mouth and stabilise the cheek on the opposite side. Practice this exercise by rounding the lips out and closing the mouth.

Stronger lips through exercising both sides

Exercise by rounding out the lips and closing the mouth, and by pulling the corners of the mouth out. This stabilises the cheek on the opposite side. Pout but don't tighten the chin!

Stimulating the lips

Trigger the muscles in the lips to tighten and pull in together. The stimulation of the upper lip is particularly important as it can easily becoming passive, leading to an over active jaw and chin.

Exercising the tongue

Vibrations from the Letsip V1, give a great deal of oral stimulation, exercising the tongue's muscles. This enables the user to learn new movements and practice tongue precision. The ability to move the tongue from side to side within the mouth, is particularly important as this oral skill facilitates good eating, chewing and clearer speech functions.

Z-shape movements

Stimulating the central part of the tongue, with a Z-shaped movement, strengthens the tongues ability to retract into the mouth. The Letsip- V0 was specially designed and developed for stimulating and strengthening the tongue.
